Enhancing the Page Object Model to Support Dynamic Languages image
Talk Description

In this talk, Ray introduces a method to enhance the Page Object Model (POM) to support multiple languages efficiently.

Ray presents a solution using dynamic JSON files that localize text for different languages, reducing the need for duplicating automation test logic.

By applying this approach, testers can maintain the same automation script while simply adding new language-specific files, optimizing scalability and maintainability.

Ray emphasises reusability in test automation and concludes with advice for new QA engineers on improving their automation skills.

By the end of this session, you'll be able to:

  • Understand how to implement dynamic localization in the Page Object Model using JSON files to support multiple languages without duplicating code
  • Learn strategies for maintaining scalable and reusable test automation frameworks while supporting international websites
